A new study by Paychex finds that over half of the small businesses surveyed handle payroll and human resources functions themselves, reports Market Watch. The Paychex Small Business Snapshot survey did find that of those who outsource the biggest reason for outsourcing was peace of mind. The outsourcing of such tasks let them focus on their core business, while knowing that all the regulatory aspects of payroll and human resources were being handled correctly.
