According to Barron’s, the pandemic caused a spike in small business owners considering retirement. 

Some small businesses have struggled to navigate the pandemic—so much so that a survey released by Wilmington Trust found a doubling since last August in the number of small-business owners thinking about retiring earlier than planned.
