According to WCHSTV, small businesses are counting on holiday shoppers to help them recover from the pandemic.

The hustle and bustle of holiday shopping is well underway, just about three weeks before Christmas. And one small business in downtown Charleston is hoping this holiday shopping season helps them bounce back after a tough last couple of years.

Small businesses are still struggling to fill open positions ahead of the holiday rush, reports NPR.

Over one-third of Americans (34%) say they plan to shop on Small Business Saturday, a rebound from 2020, but spending during the holiday promotional day has not returned to the levels seen before the pandemic, according to a new CNBC|Momentive Small Business Survey
