A new study conducted by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce has found that technology platforms, including artificial intelligence, are enabling growth and optimism among American small businesses. The study surveyed small business owners from across the country and found that those who had adopted technology platforms reported higher levels of growth and optimism than those who had not. The survey also found that those who had adopted technology platforms were more likely to report that their businesses were better positioned to compete in the current economy.

The Federal News Network recently ran an episode of Federal Drive with Tom Temin discussing the importance of talking to small businesses for innovation. The episode also discussed the Biden Administration's proposed 5.2% pay raise and the limitations of the SBA scorecard. 

Is the Biden administration anti-business? That’s certainly something to be debated over dinner. Since taking office in 2021, President Biden’s various departments and agencies have issued numerous pro-worker rulings and proposals and supported left-leaning states in their efforts to increase their minimum wage, require paid time off, implement transparency rules, change worker classifications, increase safety regulations and eliminate noncompete clauses. And the regulations aren’t ending anytime soon. Just in the past few weeks, Biden administration agencies have made it easier for unions to unionize workers, for workers to sue over discrimination or harassment, and to force businesses to tell the government about their ownership structure.
