A new small business lending rule created to combat unlawful discrimination has been finalized, reports Small Business Trends. 

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) has finalized a rule required by Congress that will improve transparency in small business lending, as well as helping to promote economic development while combating unlawful discrimination.

According to the U.S. Chamber, small business owners are more worried about where they will get capital from than they were five years ago.

Small business owners’ perceptions of their access to capital have declined over the last five years according to the latest MetLife and U.S. Chamber Small Business Index.
