The Seattle Times is reporting that a proposal to require small business owners to offer sick pay to employees is causing a rift in area businesses.

According to the Phoenix Business Journal, the Small Business for Sensible Regulations, an advocacy group formed by National Federation of Independent Business, will show how small businesses are often overburdened by regulation.

The Houston Business Journal reports that a new survey shows a majority of small businesses are taking a “wait and see” attitude on the economy.
