According to the New York Times, the National Federation of Business, a lobby group for small businesses, has publicly opposed Supreme Court nominee Judge Garland. The group believes that judge Garland is bad for small business, citing his record of siding with regulators in cases against businesses.

Small Businesses Missing Tax Credit

Small businesses aren’t taking the credit they deserve, reports Accounting Today. New numbers from the Government Accountability Board numbers show that the Small Business Health Care, Tax Credit was used by 181,000 small businesses. This is down from the last report in 2010. It also is only a small percentage of the number of businesses that are eligble.
