Entrepreneurship Opportunities

Taking a cue from The Kauffman Foundation’s vision to “foster a society of economically independent individuals who are engaged citizens, contributing to the improvement of their communities,” self-made multi-millionaire Amos Winbush III has founded AW3 Media, LLC. His mission is to ensure that there are access points to opportunity for those seeking to become Entrepreneurs.

The ultimate goal is to obtain greater numbers of Minorities (people of color), women and those residing in disadvantaged communities the access, information and ability to become successful entrepreneurs.

“I believe that entrepreneurship is the route to take for many Americans as jobs are still very scarce, especially in economically challenged communities and for many people of color and women,” said Winbush, “For this generation, the way to create generational wealth is through entrepreneurship.”

AW3 Media will debut an Entrepreneurial Step by Step book Project Entrepreneur Volume 1“An introspective look at why entrepreneurship is or isn’t for you:” to be published by Simon & Schuster. The company will also debut aneponymously named, first-of-its kind TV docu-series called “Project Entrepreneur” (Network to be announced within joint release). AW3 Media has partnered with Fortune 50 and 500, well known tech giants as Sprint and DELL to bring Project Entrepreneur docu-series to the masses.

The first of its kind, “Project Entrepreneur” will focus on connecting the dots separating the haves and have-nots while providing access to opportunity. Season One of “Project Entrepreneur” will feature aspiring entrepreneurs from cities across the country, including Detroit, Cleveland, New Orleans, Chicago and Brooklyn in pursuit of the entrepreneurial dream.

“We’re looking for individuals with a true entrepreneurial spirit expecting to take bold risks, make sacrifices, face challenges and accept criticism,” Winbush adds. “Entrepreneurship is the backbone of our nation and Project Entrepreneur sets out to link access to opportunity for those looking to create global solutions.”

Project Entrepreneur docu-series will couple chosen entrepreneurs with five of the world’s top entrepreneurs and business leaders to serve as mentors. Mentors include Scott Case, founding CTO of Priceline; Ingrid Vanderveldt, creator of CNBC’s first original primetime series, “American Made”, and Dell computer’s first Entrepreneur in Residence; Kierna Mayo, Ebony Magazine’s Editorial Director, Digital; and noted investor Elgin Thompson.
