Cloud Provider Simplifies the Cloud

Leading Cloud Provider and Technology Integrator, MicroTech, made a major statement at this week's ITEXPO in Las Vegas, Nevada which is the world's largest and best-attended communications and technology tradeshow.  Education, innovation, and networking professionals from across the entire IT community saw the debut of MicroTech's newest Cloud Solution - the MicroKloud.

Cloud4SMB, which is part of the ITEXPO, is where MicroTech President & CEO, Tony Jimenez, unveiled his company's newest innovative solution, the MicroKloud. Part of MicroTech's family of cloud computing solutions, the MicroKloud is the cornerstone of MicroTech's many initiatives to simplify customers' transition to the cloud. With a focus on agility, scalability, and security, this cost effective, private-hybrid cloud is a next-generation solution. The MicroKloud appliance is a new innovative solution that provides an  on-premise private-hybrid cloud in one compact affordable package.

Among the 300 exhibitors the MicroKloud was selected by the judges as Best in Show for having the Best Cloud Solution for the entire expo. This prestigious recognition was based on creativity and technological innovation, placing an emphasis on a product's feature set, its innovative qualities, usability, ability to work with existing standards and products, and the degree to which it contributes to the development of future communications products and services.

"We had no doubt the MicroKloud was going to be a hit at this international event," said Jimenez. "Once people hear about the solution's diverse capabilities and numerous benefits, they know it's something very special."

It was also announced that MicroTech was selected as the Golden Circle award winner for the MicroKloud Solution.  After evaluating more than 100 cloud offerings, the innovative new solution was deemed among the most beneficial to small businesses by the editors of Small Business Digest. The criteria used by the judges were: applicability to current work processes; ease of use, integration, expansion; value (cost savings, customer service, reliability, etc.); and benefits.

Additionally, MicroTech added another partner credential to its impressive portfolio with CA Technologies officially naming MicroTech as an AppLogic Cloud Center of Excellence.  This designation is in addition to the earlier certification as an HP Cloud Center of Excellence.

While at the event, Jimenez was a special panel member speaking on the "Cloud Computing: It's Not the Technology, It's the Business" panel. During the discussion he shared insights on how small and medium businesses can get around the technology barriers and make the right business decisions about cloud applications and services.  He also participated in an interview during Monday's Editors Day and was a guest on the Small Business Digest Radio Show which broadcasted from the event.
