Technology Vets Employee Travel Expenses

TripScanner announced a new and innovative solution to help small and midsized businesses control their travel costs.

TripScanner offers companies the best of both worlds:  Employees are free to book on any travel website they like, and simply forward their confirmation emails to TripScanner.  TripScanner alerts the company if a trip is booked out-of-policy, and provides real-time reporting and forecasting on their travel expenses.

"We're excited to launch TripScanner," said Ethan Laub, TripScanner's founder. "We believe it will revolutionize the way that companies manage their travel expenses."

Companies with no controls in place can quickly and easily implement TripScanner.  "It takes less than 30 minutes to set-up your account and share basic instructions with your organization," said Laub.  "Employees will love TripScanner, as they are empowered to book on their favorite travel websites.  And management gets the reporting and controls they need to manage the business and drive down travel costs."

Companies using a traditional travel agency now have a low-cost alternative.  "Managers no longer have to be the 'bad cop', forcing employees to use a particular agency or booking tool," said Laub.  "And TripScanner is very cost-effective, with pricing starting at only $49 / month for the entire company."

TripScanner launched its beta website, www.TripScanner.com, on September 23(rd), and is offering a 60-day free trial for new customers.  "We are confident that companies who try TripScanner will quickly see the value and become long-term customers," said Laub.
