Legal Technology Company, Launching New Research Tools
TrademarkNow, a legal technology company, has unveiled the company's new ExaMatch trademark research technology. TrademarkNow's new ExaMatch platform aids intellectual property attorneys in conducting research for trademark oppositions or pre-litigation preparation. Trademarks are typically filed on a country-by-country basis, forcing trademark attorneys engaged in disputes to painstakingly look up trademark information across multiple country registries and databases in order to prepare for case discussions. ExaMatch allows trademark professionals to quickly search for trademark names, registration numbers, and owners across 60+ countries' trademark databases at once, compiling exact and close matches into an easy-to-read list of results. Clicking on any of the search results pulls up all the details on a specific trademark.
"For trademark professionals, the seemingly simple task of looking up information about a particular trademark and its owner across different countries has always been unnecessarily slow and painful. ExaMatch solves this problem, allowing attorneys to do in minutes what previously often took hours," said Mikael Kolehmainen, TrademarkNow co-founder and CEO. "Our team has worked hard to build ExaMatch - a seamless search process that allows trademark attorneys to easily search 60+ international trademark databases with one search. The attorneys who have seen what we've been working on are very excited."
TrademarkNow will be demoing the company's new ExaMatch technology at the company's INTA booth (Booth Number 1007) during the INTA conference.
In addition to launching ExaMatch, TrademarkNow today also announced the hiring of Tiffany Valeriano as Trademark Executive. In her new role at TrademarkNow, Valeriano will be leading the company's new sales team in Germany. Prior to joining TrademarkNow, Valeriano was Chief Commercial Officer at Brandstock, a leading IP services provider and law firm headquartered in Munich, Germany with offices in Italy, US, France, and Switzerland.
"In her work at Brandstock, Tiffany was active selling, cross selling and generating new business. Leading her team, she significantly grew the company's sales pipeline," Kolehmainen said. "We're building a TrademarkNow sales team in Germany, and with her skills, knowledge and expertise in the IP services industry, she will be a great leader for that team to expand TrademarkNow's sales there."
TrademarkNow was founded on the idea of applying machine learning, advanced algorithms and artificial intelligence to the manual efforts related to trademark clearing to increase process efficiency and effectiveness. TrademarkNow provides an intelligent web-based trademark management platform that is used by in-house legal teams, law firms and branding agencies for instant trademark search and watch results.
