Small Businesses are Turning to AI to Survive the Challenging Economy

Small Businesses are Turning to AI to Survive the Challenging Economy yellow and black street sign

Verizon's annual State of Small Business Survey has found that small businesses are turning to Artificial Intelligence (AI) to survive the current economic climate. The survey was conducted with over 2,000 small business owners and found that over half of the respondents are using AI to increase efficiency and reduce costs. Additionally, the survey found that the majority of small businesses are looking to AI to help them better understand customer needs and preferences. The survey also revealed that small businesses are increasingly looking to AI to help them automate mundane tasks and gain insights into customer behavior.

Although AI can be a powerful tool for small businesses to gain insights and automate mundane tasks, it is important to remember that it is not a panacea. AI can be a great asset for small businesses, but it is important to understand the potential risks and limitations of the technology. It is also important to remember that AI is not a substitute for human judgement and decision-making. Ultimately, it is up to the business owners to decide if AI is the right tool for their business.
