A new survey reports that 69% of respondents trust an online review as much as they trust a friend’s recommendation, reports The Huffington Post. That means small businesses need to a have a strategy in place to handle negative online reviews.

While some states might have better taxes or regulations, reports the SF Gate, the best state to start your small business in, is the state you are currently living in.

A new survey conducted by Sage, a business software company, shows that small businesses aren’t taking advantage of technology. According to the survey, many small businesses are still relying on paper calendars, to-do lists and time tracking.
