The Internal Revenue Service will now offer small businesses the ability to file for a fast-track settlement,reports CNN. Fast-track settlements have long been available to mid-size and large companies, but now they will also be available to small firms. By filing for a fast-track settlement a business can shorten the audit process so that it's resolved within 60 days instead of years.

An Omaha company is launching a private health insurance exchange for small businesses, reports Omaha.com. The online exchange called benefitbay is for companies with 50 or fewer employees and will begin enrolling people at the beginning of December for coverage to start January 2014.
