Without government relief many small businesses could close in the coming months, reports Common Dreams. 

Advocates for independently-owned businesses warned that restaurants, gyms, and other Main Street businesses across the U.S. will be forced to close in the coming months after Republicans in the Senate on Thursday blocked a $48 billion package to provide relief to owners who have struggled to stay afloat during the coronavirus pandemic.

Small businesses aren’t prepared for a cyber attack, reports CNBC.

Some of the highest profile cyberattacks on the U.S. in recent years are alleged to have originated in Russia, including the 2021 attack on the Colonial Pipeline — the largest fuel pipeline in the U.S. — the SolarWinds attack in 2020, and the 2016 hacking into the Democratic National Committee.
