Burlington Vermont Offers Grants

Burlington Vermont is offering business owners of color access to $180,000 in grants, reports NBC 5.

The city of Burlington is giving $180,000 to small businesses and nonprofits owned by people of color. "They really want to see small businesses thrive. They want to see someone like me thrive for sure," says Mujib Khaliq, the owner of North Country Kettlebells in Burlington.

The Barstool Fund Has Nonprofit Fund for Small Business

The Barstool Fund’s nonprofit 30 Day Fund helps small businesses, reports Fox Business. 

Husband and wife Pete and Burson Snyder, who founded the nonprofit 30 Day Fund to help communities and small businesses, on Thursday pledged $1 million to The Barstool Fund if the fundraising effort reaches $14 million by midnight on New Year's Eve.
