As the year edges towards ending and the holiday shopping season in full swing we often forget to send out our thank-you notes to all the customers that have supported our businesses.

Maine has authorized $5 million dollars from the Maine Jobs & Recovery Small Business Grant Program to be distributed, reports Maine Biz. 

For Maine small businesses still struggling because of the pandemic, an initial allotment of $5 million from the Maine Jobs & Recovery Small Business Grant Program is now available, Gov. Janet Mills said Wednesday.

Small businesses Optimism Index decreased in October, reports Shore Daily News. 

The NFIB Small Business Optimism Index decreased slightly in October by 0.9 points to 98.2. One of the 10 Index components improved, seven declined, and two were unchanged.
