WD Introduces New Ultra-Compact Backup Appliances
WD unveiled two new ultra-compact desktop appliances: the WD Arkeia DA1300 and DA2300. These desktop units come bundled with WD Arkeia v10.1software, providing an all-in-one backup and disaster recovery solution for businesses.
Powered by WD Red drives and an Intel® Atom dual-core processor, the DA1300 is the perfect entry-level appliance, delivering high reliability at an affordable price. The DA2300, with its enterprise-class WD Se drives and Intel Xeon® quad-core processor, is a step up from the DA1300, ensuring maximum data integrity while maintaining the same ultra-compact form.
The WD Arkeia DA1300 will be available later this month from CDW, Insight, PC Connection and WD Arkeia authorized VARs worldwide; look for the WD Arkeia DA2300 to be available late fall.
