According to the New York Times, many small business owners have no idea of the current value of their business. Even if an owner is not in the market to sell, it is a good idea to know the businesses value.

Small business optimism fell from previous months, reports Buffalo News. Of those surveyed over 70% felt it was a bad time to expand their business. Those that do plan on expanding are doing so with caution.
