Check Your Social Media Performance With 8 Apps

altSocial Media is one of the most important tools a small business (or any business for that matter) has these days! Keeping track of your social media profiles is one of the smartest things a business owner can do, and we are here to tell you eight great apps for doing just that!

App #1: Klout. Probably the most popular of all social media analyzing apps, Klout uses Twitter and Facebook data to determine your "true reach", or how many people you influence. Klout scores range from one to one hundred, with 100 being the most influential.

App #2: Peer Index. Based in London, Peer Index also helps to measure your social influence status. It is easy to use, and uses a lot of relevant social media applications to determine your status.

App #3: Timely:Helps your social influence by helping you to schedule your Tweets, and they will post them at the time they will have the most impact. They analyze your past tweets to help decide this.

App #4: TweetEffect. Detirmines which of your Twitter updates made you gain followers, and which made you lose followers. Actually a very useful tool.

App #5:TweetLevel.  A newer tool, still in Beta. Seems a little complicated to me, and does the same thing as many of the others. However, worth a look to see what it's all about.

App #6: Twitter Grader. Measures your influence against other Twitter users. Worth a look also.

App #7: TweetStats. Actually a very interesting app. Makes a graph of your stats for you to use.

App#8: Twitalyzer. Described as "serious analytics for social business", they are not playing around!

These apps will help you measure just how many people you are reaching, which is invaluable to any small business owner.
