Do's and Don'ts For Your Business Facebook Page

altCreating a Facebook page for your business is a must these days. I would actually say that having social media pages for your business is absolutely as important as having a web page. But, if you have never created a Facebook business page before, you might be wondering exactly what you need to know. Today, we are going to tell you the do's and don'ts of Facebook business pages!

Some do's and dont's!

DO Make sure your privacy settings are pretty relax . By making it possible for "everyone" to post on your wall instead of just "friends", you can really get a lot more interaction going. DON'T accidentally cut yourself off from potential customers.

DO Get "tagged". By allowing people to tag your business in your photos, you will have much more customer interaction and allow a fun way for your customers to build their relationship with you

Don't ignore your page. Make sure to interact with the fans that are commenting and asking questions.

DO make sure you allow enough time to dedicate to interacting with customers on your Facebook page. Even if it's just to "like" something they posted on your wall, or to answer their question, this is very important!

Do post pictures often. Do ask questions in your status updates. These are easy and effective ways to engage fans!

Don't forget your "places!" By enabling the Facebook Places app, customers will be able to "check in" when they are at your business,  allowing a whole new way to interact!

Don't spam them! Limit your advertising posts, and Don't post the same content every day!

DO add lots of photos! This is a great way to advertise new products, as well as old ones! Show them what you've got!

These are some good starting points for your Facebook business page! Get started and make some new friends now!
