What is your core message? A core message is a simple, singular message that you want to convey to your customers. The core message should be something that sets your business apart from the competition. Don't just make your message something like "we have nice cars", or "beautiful flowers sold here". You have to set yourself apart and tell your customers what makes you better. Don't know what sets you apart? Go directly to the source. Ask your customers why they choose you over the competition to get a real look inside their heads.
A core message in and of itself is actually very simple. It is one sentence, usually no more than ten or twelve words. It tells WHO does WHAT and FOR WHAT REASON. Some examples are "We help moms to keep their babies safe", or "I help businesses manage their social media better". Now that the customer knows WHAT it is that you do, you want to draw them in to find out HOW you do what you do. It can be a phrase, a sentence, anything. No more than that. Keep it simple. Try to convey your entire business message in one sentence. Harder than it seems, right? However, if you take your time and create a great core message, you will find that your advertising campaigns will be consistently successful. Give it a try and see how it works for your business.
