Shopify your way to online sales

shopifyTarik Yousef, the owner of T.Y. Fine Furniture, a custom furniture maker in Columbus, Ohio, is a huge fan of selling his wares online as well as in his brick-and-mortar shop. His 2-year-old store, which not only creates custom built furniture and cabinets sourcing Ohio wood, also sells organic mattresses, bedding and fine leather massage chairs and loungers.

When he first endeavored into the world of online retailing, he looked into several e-commerce platforms to support his desire to boost those sales. He was looking for a platform designed to be customer-friendly and also easy for him to edit and manage. After researching several, he choose Shopify.

He says he choose Shopify for several reasons. While it was not the least expensive of the various ecommerce platforms he looked into, Yousef says he was willing to pay extra for the services he was promised. For example, if there is ever an issue with the product, Shopify’s customer service is quick to respond and fix the problem. The platform is also designed to make it easy for him to edit his postings, and that saves him time and aggravation.

It seems Yousef isn’t alone in his adoration for Shopify. According to a recent article on www.fool.com, investors are high on Shopify, too. Its stock price for the soared 26 percent in March 2016 alone, and that’s after a 27 percent jump in price last September.

According to Yousef, while he does pay more for Shopify than he would other ecommerce solutions, he thinks the extra expense is worthwhile. He also notes that the basic Shopify account can be extremely reasonable.

Certainly, the ecommerce platform market is crowded with viable alternatives to Shopify. To make your search for the right one to choose, check out this recent piece on Ecommerce Platforms. The article offers comparisons of the top five ecommerce platforms on the market today.
