More companies are giving employees a say by letting them vote, reports CNN Money. Companies let employees vote on things like which perks to have or whether to switch healthcare plans.

A new study by CardHub rates 30 major metropolitan areas on their small business work environment, reports the Huffington Post. The ranking criteria, included small business job growth, salaries for new hires, cost of living and stress index.

Twitter no offers small businesses do it yourself ads, reports Businessweek. The new pay-for ads will let business owners target Twitter users based on location and interests.
