Updating Small Business Administration's Small Business Farm Definition
A new bill introduced into the House of Representatives wants to classify farms as small businesses, reports the St. Louis Post Dispatch. According to the bill’s sponsor the current Small Business Administration definitions are outdated and prevent many farms from getting SBA loans and other assistance.
