According to Top Tech News simple using the factory reset or “delete all” command is not enough to completely wipe the data off your phone. Avast Software, a security firm, conducted an experiment on 20 used smartphones, that the owners believed to be wiped of data, and found that all contained data that was easily recoverable with commercially available tools.
