According to statistics released by Expanded Ramblings in February 2017, more than 301 million people are active monthly users of Snapchat. The social media platform claims that 2.5 billion Snaps are created every day. Contrast that with Twitter, President Donald Trump’s favorite social media outlet, which reported 317 million monthly active users as of the third quarter of 2016.
